Reno Omokri, a former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, on Monday, led a protest against the presidential candidate of Nigeria’s ruling party; All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, in London, United Kingdom.
Omokri, an ally of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, gave update of the protest tagged ‘HarrasTinubuOutOfLondon’ via his twitter page.
He said the protesters disgraced the former Lagos state governor at Chatham House, adding that Tinubu couldn’t get out of his car and had to “run away”.
He wrote: “Tinubu will never forget the protest we just pulled off at Chatham House. He was disgraced and could not get out of his car. He had to run away. The #HarassTinubuOutofLondon Protest Against Drug Lord Tinubu at Chatham House was a resounding success! We shook the drug lord Asiwaju.”
Omokri also shared pictures from the protest with the caption: “The #HarassTinubuOutofLondon Protest Against Drug Lord Tinubu at Chatham House was a resounding success! The British media were there and Tinubu was projected to them for what he is, a KNOWN DRUG LORD! That is what will be remembered of his @ChathamHouse event!”
