The founder and leader of the Biafra Independence Movement and movement for the actualisation of the sovereign state of Biafra, His Excellency, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike (Ijele Ndigbo) have been said to lead high-profile Igbo leaders to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Eze Engr. Obidiegwu Onyesoh for the declaration of the Igbo lunar calendar

A source close to Uwazuruike confirmed to BT Afrika that the Igbo leader will be attending these year’s IguAro with some notable men in the region.

Chief Ralph Uwazuruike was crowned Ijele Ndigbo and Ezeigbo Gburugburu Il, as the successor of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu by His Royal Majesty, Eze Engr. Obidiegwu Onyesoh, the traditional ruler of Nri Ancient Kingdom in 2012.

EzeNri is the custodian of Igbo Culture, Customs and civilization. He is the only King that has the capacity to crown the overall leader of Igbo race.
