APPEAL COURT DISMISSES PDP’S EBISIKE APPEAL AGAINST LP’ NNAMANI AS IKWECHEGH EDGES TOWARDS VICTORY.

The Appeal court in Lagos has dismissed Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike’s appeal against Labour Party’s Hon. Emeka Nnamani in the case brought before it by PDP’s Ebisike.

The three man panel held that Hon.Ebisike’s petition lacked merit and the Appellant could not adduce sufficient evidence to prove noncompliance with the provisions of the electoral Acts.

The Panel subsequently upheld the decision of the National Assembly Election Tribunal that Nnamani stands disqualified.

Though, the Appeal Court is yet to rule on Chief Alex Ikwechegh versus Emeka Nnamani’s case, the ruling today is a clear indication that Onyeocha n’Aba of APGA may end up representing Aba North and Aba South federal constituency.
