Today being 30th November 2022, Abịa State women are out again to protest against the continuous illegal detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra.
As witness by Umuchiukwu Writers correspondents, Biafran mothers are becoming more decisive and fearless in their demand for the release of their beloved son and leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The collective boldness and action of these women are reflecting to the Aba women riot of 1929 in which women from different parts of the Eastern region of Nigeria met in Aba the current commercial city of Abịa State to Protest violently against the colonial masters who were using warrant chiefs to extort money from the women in the name of tax. History will never forget that.
The same history is about to repeat itself if the federal government of Nigeria refuse to obey the order of both federal high court Umuahia and the Appeal Court Abuja who have dismissed and acquitted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra . So, Nigeria government should re-trace her step and respect the rule of law by releasing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as different courts have ordered. Tyranny is not acceptable in democracy……..
