The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Rishi Sunak, was fined by the police for not wearing a seatbelt in a moving car.
He was found to have done so while filming a social media video.
A Downing Street spokesperson on Friday said the British leader “will of course comply” with the penalty. “The Prime Minister fully accepts this was a mistake,” the spokesperson added.
In the UK, failure to wear a seatbelt when one is available can result in a fine of up to £500 (375.000 FCFA), unless you are covered by a valid exception.
